An app for citizen science is developed in Linköping
Linköping has developed two pilot apps that can be used by participants in citizen science projects to report experiences of heat and air quality in cities. The apps have been distributed to the other partners in ECIU CARE to be used in Citizen arena campaigns. In Linköping, they initiated Citizen arenas with around 60 staff from the Linköping University library at the beginning of June. The staff will use the apps during June, July, and September. At the end of September, they will hold workshops together with the participants to explore the experiences and outcomes of the apps and further developments. They are also planning to use the apps in a Citizen arena during European Researchers’ Night on September 29 when they will participate in an event at a cultural centre in a residential area of Linköping.
